Ames Our Tuesday night stop has a population of 52,000 and is home of the Iowa State Cyclones. Ames hosted RAGBRAI in 1973 and 1983. Fun Fact: Bob has a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Debbie has a black car, and Nicole has a black dress.

Our Background.... Bob works on Brancel Charters, Capitol Express (a transportation company) and Galaxy Spirit (a cheerleading company).  His wife Debbie works at American Family Insurance. Bob and Debbie have ridden in two RAGBRAI's. We have been active in triathlons with Bob finishing the Florida Ironman in 2001 & 2004, Ironman Wisconsin in 2002 and Ironman Couer d’Alene in 2007. Debbie finished Ironman Wisconsin in 2002 and also in 2004.  We were not fast but we did finish! Bob has a 16 year old daughter, Nicole.  She is a big help with RAGBRAI as a bus host and support during the week.  Nicole is active in cheerleading competitions.  We look forward to helping you make RAGBRAI a great experience.
